February is in full swing, and we are kicking off the beginning of the year at EMMCO Pomorze with our CEO, ARTUR KORZENIOWSKI, participating in the TOWNHALL for the HUGIN A and Valhall PWP projects in Stord, Norway.

We had the extraordinary pleasure and honor of speaking on the same stage as:
– Arne Hammer (Stord Yard Director),
– Peter Kupka (Project Director Yggdrasil/Aker BP),
– Ronny Berger (Union Rep),
– Carl van der Hagen (Valhall PWP Project Manager),
– Svein Oskar Nuland (Hugin A Project Manager),
before an exceptional group of over a thousand employees from all the companies working hard on the HuginA and ValhallPWP projects at Aker Solutions Stord. While several hundred of our EMMCO #PROTEAM specialists are working on these innovative projects, it is precisely the participation in the TOWNHALL that shows the employees of all suppliers that we are all on the same team. We are one Aker Solutions Team. A sense of unity is crucial, as we live in a world of global competition, particularly from Asia, however, Europe continues to maintain a strong position in this race, boasting exceptional people with unique competencies. Therefore, we must constantly focus on quality, productivity, and safety, which will allow us to deliver projects at the highest world-class level.

Our presence at this event confirms the significant role that EMMCO Pomorze plays in the execution of projects for Aker Solutions. SCAFFOLDING WORKS FOR BLADT INDUSTRIES A / S – LEPSØYA BRIDGE PROJECT

Focusing on the development of EMMCO as well as based on many years of experience and knowledge of the industry, we have expanded our offer to include scaffolding works.

Therefore, we are pleased with the effective performance of the contract for one of the industry leaders – Bladt Industries A / S, which highly appreciated the effects of our work and the skills of our staff.

In 2020, we participated in the LEPSØYA BRIDGE project during the assembly of the bridge structure. The works were performed at a height of 50 meters while maintaining the highest health and safety standards. Difficult and changeable weather conditions in Søvik / Ålesund in Norway were an additional challenge.

A team of qualified EMMCO scaffolders performed work in the field of:

• construction and reconstruction of various types of platforms, from simple scaffolding to complex structures, such as suspended scaffolding, cantilever scaffolding and temporary roofing
• verification and ensuring a stable base for the scaffolding
• erection of scaffolding poles
• laying communication platforms
• damage verification
• fixing of scaffolding and safety nets

The LEPSØYA BRIDGE, the main contractor of which is Skanska Norway, is an 805 meter long, 4,100 ton bridge that connects Lepsøya island to the mainland.

INVESTOR SUPERVISION FOR THE ROBYG GROUP – CONSTRUCTION OF NOWA LETNICA ESTATE

We would like to inform you that we have completed another investor supervision for the ROBYG Group. The works concerned stage VII of the NOWA LETNICA estate in Gdańsk, i.e. 17-storey buildings marked with the symbols G1 and G2. The work performed by EMMCO lasted from July 2019 to January 2021.

The supervision was carried out comprehensively by our team of authorized engineers from the construction, sanitary and electrical industries.

In 2017-2019, we supervised works for the ROBYG Group during the construction of buildings both at the NOWA LETNICA estate and the ZAJEZDNIA WRZESZCZ estate in Gdańsk.

So far, we have supervised buildings at NOWA LETNICA and ZAJEZDNIA WRZESZCZ construction sites with the total number of: usable floor space (PUM) 81 265 m2, 1663 apartments with an area from 28 m2 to 116 m2.

The ROBYG Group is a leader in the real estate development market in the Tri-City and in Poland, which has been implementing housing investments for over 20 years.

With great interest, we are observing the impressive plans for the construction of the next stages of the Nowa Letnica estate by the ROBYG Group.

EMMCO Pomorze has been positively verified as a reliable supplier in the Achilles JQS system.

Achilles JQS is a prestigious system associating European clients from the Oil & Gas industry.

This is our second certification from the global Achilles system that qualifies suppliers from various industries.

EMMCO is already qualified as a service provider in the StartBANK system for the construction industry.

EMMCO Pomorze has been positively verified and qualified as a registered supplier in the StartBANK system.

Launched in 2005 in collaboration with The Norwegian Construction Industry Association (BNL) StartBANK was developed to meet the increasingly demanding legislative and risk management needs of construction management clients throughout Norway.

StartBANK is part of the Achilles global system that qualifies suppliers from various industries.

We are pleased to announce that we have successfully passed the audit confirming compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 45001:2018 in the scope of:

• Welding, installation and demolition works with construction site supervision
• Multi-discipline technological supervision of the production process of welded steel structures and industrial pipelines
• Multi-discipline investor supervision of the construction process of building structures
• Comprehensive management of the project and construction site
• Supply of engineering, inspection, production and testing personnel

Implementation of the Integrated Quality & HSSE Management System will allow us to improve our services to meet the expectations of the most demanding Clients.
